I raised my prices... and actually felt good about it!

Context
When Naomi first came to me, she knew she wanted to make some meaningful changes to her business.
She is a highly qualified and accredited animal behaviourist but was slowly working herself into the ground juggling client demands, whilst never feeling like her bank balance reflected all of the hours and hard work that she put in.
Naomi wanted her business to better reflect who she is, what she offers and the standard of service she provides... and to bring in more money (which is, of course, entirely reasonable but that doesn’t mean she felt comfortable about it!).
Naomi wasn’t short on professional experience or capability (far from it!) but when it came to the business side of things, she didn’t feel confident about where to start with changing things or how to move forward in a way that felt right for her.
Like so many business owners, she didn’t need surface level advice... she needed deeper clarity, genuine support and a step-by-step plan that would help everything feel more aligned.

One of the things that mattered most to Naomi was having support from someone who understood both the realities of the industry and the realities of running a business within it. Naomi also worked through the online materials alongside our sessions, which helped the strategy click into place more fully. As she put it, even where some of the concepts weren’t brand new, it was the first time a lot of them had really landed.
That combination of structure, support and implementation helped Naomi to stop circling the same questions and start making real progress.
Outcome
The biggest practical shift was that Naomi put her prices up... and felt good about it.
That wasn’t just a financial change. It reflected a much deeper shift in how she saw her business, her services and the value of what she offers. With clearer messaging, refined services and an elevated website, everything started to feel more joined up... and that made the higher fees feel far more comfortable and sustainable.
Since making those changes, Naomi has seen more money coming in, and the response to her website has been consistently positive too. People often comment on both the look and the content, which has reassured her that it’s genuinely appealing to the right people.
Even better, as she shared more recently, although she had worried a lot about the size of the price increase, she needn’t have. She’s still getting more than enough bookings... but now at a rate that gives her more breathing space.

“I put my prices up! And I feel good about it! I feel like everything matches now. My website is elevated, I’m clearer about what I’m offering and therefore feel more comfortable with the higher fees now.”
She also shared:
“People often comment on really liking my website now... both the look and the content. So I know that it is appealing to people. I have seen more money coming in since raising my fees and as I keep applying the principles I am sure that will continue.”
