Context

When Lottie first got in touch, she was preparing to return to work after maternity leave and wanted to feel far more confident, clear and in control of her business than she did at that point.

Like so many brilliant dog professionals, she wasn’t short on skill or commitment... but the business side felt heavier than it needed to. She was struggling with understanding how to charge more (without losing potential clients), found herself burying her head in the sand around finances and, of course, imposter syndrome was never far away either!

At the same time, Lottie knew her online presence no longer reflected the direction she wanted to take the business in. She needed a new brand and website that felt aligned with the kind of clients she wanted to attract, the level she wanted to work at and the prices she needed to charge... as well as something she could actually update and manage herself.

So, alongside support through Unleash Your Potential, Lottie also opted for Elevate Your Business, combining coaching and mentoring with a strategic brand and website refresh.

In other words... we had plenty to get stuck into.

Working together

With Lottie, the priority was never just to make things look nicer on the surface. The real work was about helping her build a business that felt clearer, stronger and more sustainable from the inside out.

Through our 1:1 work inside Unleash Your Potential, we focused on helping her get a better handle on the business as a whole... especially the finances, pricing, efficiency and decision-making that would support a more confident return to work.

Together, we worked on:

  • refining her target market and getting clearer on who she most wanted to work with

  • shaping services and pricing around the business she actually wanted to build

  • improving accountability and helping her stay on top of the financial side of things

  • building confidence around charging what she needed to charge

  • quietening some of the noise around imposter syndrome and outside opinions

Alongside this, we worked through the Elevate Your Business process to create a new brand and website that properly reflected Lottie’s strengths, values and specialism... not just where her business had started, but where it was going.

As part of that process, something really important clicked into place: rather than forcing herself into a niche that didn’t feel quite right, Lottie’s specialism emerged naturally through the branding work. What had felt fuzzy before suddenly became obvious. That clarity then shaped everything else... from her messaging to her offers to the kinds of clients she was attracting.

And, of course, the website itself wasn’t just about aesthetics. It needed to work hard too. It needed to feel professional, aligned and distinctive... while also being easy for Lottie to edit and stay in control of.

Here’s a look at the before and after...

By the end of the process, Lottie had a website that not only looked beautiful, but gave her a much stronger foundation for moving forward with confidence.

Outcome

The changes we made together had an impact both practically and psychologically... which, in business, is often where the real magic is.

Lottie shared that one of the biggest differences the new brand and website gave her was confidence in what she was offering. Through the branding process, she became much clearer on her niche and ideal clients and that has made it far easier to recognise who is and isn’t the right fit.

That clarity has fed directly into her marketing and enquiries too. As Lottie put it, the website is now bringing the right kinds of clients to her repeatedly, because it works better for both her and the people landing on it.

She also described a huge shift in how she feels about her business more broadly. Instead of second-guessing herself and worrying so much about what others might think, she now has a clearer vision for the business, feels more accountable to herself and her clients and has started putting forward the kinds of prices she would once have avoided altogether.

In her words:

“Well I’ve just gone ahead and done it, and even just put out a price to a client that’s the top end that I’d actually like to charge. I’d never have considered doing that before… and they booked.”

And the response to the new website has been even better than she expected...

“Nearly every client has commented on how professional my website is in comparison to other local trainers.

The new brand and website has given me confidence in what I’m offering. That may sound a bit silly but everyone talks about finding a niche or specialism and how important that is but until I worked with Gretta I’ve never been able to. Working through the process with her and everything involved in that my niche came to light naturally and it seems so obvious now.

The website is bringing the right kinds of clients for me repeatedly as it now works for them and me. I’m also really bloody proud of it, I personally think it’s beautiful and I have a clear vision for my business and what I’m trying to achieve.”

And, honestly, that pride matters… a lot.

Because when your business feels more like you, reflects your strengths properly and supports the direction you want to go in, it becomes much easier to show up with confidence and make decisions from a grounded place... rather than from panic, comparison or self-doubt.

Lottie was an absolute joy to work with. She brought honesty, openness and a real willingness to keep going, even during a very full and challenging season of life. The result is a business that feels far more aligned, a website she genuinely loves and a much stronger foundation for the next chapter.
