Context
Pauline is an exceptionally experienced and highly qualified dog trainer and behaviourist based in Worcestershire. With a passion (and about a million medals!) for scentwork and an undeniable love of border collies, she had built up a strong reputation in her local area, over her 25 years in the industry.
Despite this (and like many others in our industry) Pauline found herself run-ragged, working ridiculously long hours, barely ever taking a day off and yet still not earning what she should be, given her hard-earned skills and expertise. It was also clear that (again, like so many others I work with), Pauline often didn’t give herself the credit she deserved for the incredible work she does.
Signing up for Unleash Your Potential, my one to one business coaching programme, Pauline said that she wanted to feel more in control of her business, increase bookings for behaviour cases and be able to reduce her working hours, without compromising on her income.
Working together
Once Pauline started to explore her vision for the business (and as a result of working her way through the online resources), she realised that her brand and website weren’t really doing a great job of communicating her values and expertise.
So, alongside the 1:1 coaching programme, Pauline also opted to upgrade her business with my bespoke brand and website service, making the most of the discount offered to those also signed up to Unleash Your Potential.
Working with my design team, I created a new, strategically-aligned brand identity and website which Pauline loved. Gone was the tired, clunky old site that felt far from premium, to be replaced with a stunning new design that oozes sophistication and effortlessly communicates Pauline’s professional yet personal approach, which is so appreciated by her clients.

But, of course, this project was about so much more than just good looks: Pauline’s new website needed to:
help her business get found online in local searches
communicate the value of the services on offer (including a price increase!)
improve the conversion rate of how many website visitors actually sign up
be easy to edit and update in the future, without needing to pay for help
A tall order? Yes… but, as you’ll see shortly, we nailed it!
Alongside all of this, Pauline was busily working her way through the 1:1 coaching programme with me, which helped her to gain clarity and take action on the business side of things.
With my support, she overhauled her pricing, re-vamped her service offerings, streamlined her processes, shared her expertise at a summit (gaining hundreds of new email subscribers), set up an email marketing system and more… really impressive stuff!
Outcome
Towards the end of our time together, Pauline shared a comment that made my heart sing: working with me had not only transformed her business and website (which she declared ‘beautifully designed and easy to use’ - WIN!) but that it had also changed her mindset. She explained: ‘I have a real belief now that I can achieve my goals and I also understand how I can achieve them’.
Catching up with Pauline a couple of months later, it was clear that she’d continued to build on all of her hard work and was reaping the rewards. Here’s what she said…
‘Working with you has changed my business enormously - both in terms of how I perceive it (and my role within it) but also what I can (and do) offer my clients.
My website now portrays me as the person that I am and, as a result, I’ve seen a significant increase in my income. I now have around a 90% conversion rate from enquiries and I’m inundated with behaviour clients. Prior to working with you, this wasn’t the case at all.
Although I’m still working more hours than I’d like (because that’s just the nature of me and scentwork trials!), I have a clear pathway to working fewer hours. I now just need to actually put that into practice.
When I first looked into working with you, I thought it was a lot of money but I’ve already made that money back. Over the course of a year, I will make it back in spades, so it’s been an incredibly worthwhile investment in my business.
