I’m Gretta - a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Dog Trainer, turned business nerd
For a long time, I never thought of myself as a business-type of person. Maybe you’re the same.
Before spending a decade in teaching, I somehow (don’t ask me how!) ended up in sales and marketing roles straight out of uni. Whilst I learned a lot, one thing was clear: I hated selling. Or more accurately, I hated being told how to do it.
As a slightly socially-awkward introvert who values authenticity and transparency, the pushy approach made me cringe. So, I did things my own way: keeping the ‘good’ bits and ditching the rest. To my surprise, it worked… really well.

You can run a successful, profitable business without constantly posting on social media.
Of course, social media can be useful and I’ll help you use it strategically if you want to.
But you won’t find me recommending an exhausting ‘post every day’ approach or suggesting that you spend hours dancing on reels to chase an ever-changing algorithm.

Not really but you will need to be comfortable with:
accessing an online learning platform
downloading and using google docs/ sheets (you can convert them into word docs and excel spreadsheets if you prefer)
making changes to your website (or getting someone else to do that for you)
accessing your business numbers (e.g. income, number of bookings etc.)

Not at all… but, through the programme, you’ll be supported to understand, gather and monitor the important numbers in your business (income, profit, website visitors etc.) because this will help you to make your business better.
You’ll be asked for some key business metrics when you first sign up, in order for us to get a baseline. Then, you’ll be asked to submit monthly data going forwards so that we can monitor your progress. I’ll do some calculations and present your monthly progress to you in a visual dashboard, so that you can see everything at a glance.

All the strategies and recommendations in this programme come directly from me and my real-world experience as a business strategist and ABTC-Registered Dog Training Instructor and Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
Of course, used well, AI can be a useful tool. That’s why I offer a few optional custom GPTs (Pixel), which are trained on my own content. They’re simply a more interactive way to access the same guidance you’ll find in the course materials… so you can use them if you like or skip them entirely.
On live calls, I use an AI notetaker to give you a clear written summary of what we discussed. If you’d rather not have that, you can opt out.
