That really depends on how prepared you are (ie. whether you already have your website copy and imagery prepared), how many pages you need, how familiar you are with website editing and how much customisation you want to do.
The most time consuming bit is usually the website copywriting (in the ‘prepare’ phase). However, I’ve included free access to my online course ‘How To Write Your Website’ which leads you through every step and provides templates and prompts to save you time and make the process as painless as possible… even if you don’t really like writing.

Yes! You can see some extra information about the customisation option above. If you’d like to add this, just choose the upgrade option ‘template + customisation’ when you pay for your template.
If you opt for my ‘done-for-you’ customisation service but need extra pages, the customisation for these extras is priced as follows:
FREE to swap one page for another similar length page from the template eg. if you don’t want a blog but you need another service page.
£75 for an additional short page based on one from the template
£100 for an additional long page (eg. service page) based on one from the template
£125 for a short page with a new/ custom design eg. vets page
£175 for a long page (eg. service page) needing a new/ custom design

If you opt for the brand design and/ or ‘done-for-you’ template customisation service, you’ll first be given access to the online course and the template will be installed as usual. The online course guides you through every step and tells you what you’ll need to provide when.
The brand design work (if applicable) will be booked in to start ASAP, while you’re working on the ‘preparation’ phase of the course.
The template customisation work will be booked in when you’ve done all of the prep work and sent me everything I need. Then, I’ll get to work on your template customisation and send everything over for you to check when it’s ready.
The online course materials that accompany the template will explain exactly what to do and when but if you have any questions, just ask.

Yes, this is usually very easy to do and just involves either:
getting an ‘embed’ code from your booking system/ email marketing service provider and adding this to your website by pasting the code where you want it
adding a link to a button which takes people to an external booking page/ email sign up page hosted by your third party provider.
If you’ve opted for the website customisation service, I will gladly do this for you if you provide me with the information I need.

No need to worry about that!
Your website template is totally customisable so you can make any changes you want but, even if you just swapped the colours, fonts and text to suit you and your brand, you’ll find that it changes the look and feel of the site anyway.
And, of course, don’t forget that your potential clients are looking at you and your local competition, not scouring internet to compare infinite numbers of dog trainers’ websites to see if they can spot any similarities! Who has time for that?

Once you go through the secure checkout, you will be emailed an invoice and your log in information (2 separate emails). Simply follow the instructions to access your online course. It’s very easy, I promise!
In the introductory module of the course, it outlines the whole process for you and provides clear instructions for what to do.
Your website template will be delivered into your existing (or new) Squarespace account within 7-10 days (but usually within 48 hours) and you’ll find you have plenty of prep work to be getting on with in the meantime!

You don’t need to pay me anything at all going forward - once you’ve paid for your templates and any add-ons that you’ve selected, the website is your own and there are no maintenance contracts/ tie-ins.
This is because I firmly believe in empowering you to take control of your own business (and ongoing expenses). For me, that includes your website. This is why I provide step-by-step video guides, so that you can update your website yourself any time you want to in the future. Of course, if you ever need extra help with your website, this can easily be arranged.
You will, however, need to pay for your subscription to the website hosting platform (Squarespace). A ‘personal plan’ is only around £12/ month and a ‘business plan’ is around £17/ month. You’ll need a business plan if you want to embed your own booking systems or email marketing opt in forms etc. You can see the current prices and features of different plans here. You’ll also benefit from 20% off the cost of your first year of an annual plan with Squarespace by working with me, as I’m a Squarespace Circle Member.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible but, even if it were, there is a huge benefit in building your website from the ground up, ensuring that you design it to serve you and your potential clients well, rather than bolting on extra bits that don’t work cohesively.
Of course, you can still use your existing domain - it’s easy to link this up to your new site when you’re ready to switch over.

You can easily duplicate any template pages so that you have multiple copies, ready for you to customise in any way you like.
You can also create new pages (or add to existing pages) in just a few clicks by using the ‘saved sections’ feature, combined with the ‘mix and match’ page that has some extra ideas and designs for you.

Pretty easy! It uses a drag and drop design and, most of the time, you’ll simply be swapping existing text and images for new ones. Detailed guidance is provided.
